President Hinckley...

...passed away last night. What a wonderful life he lived and strong anchor he has been for me. I'm glad he went in peace and can now be with his eternal sweetheart he has been missing so much. President Hinckley has made such a positive influence on the world and has blessed so many countries with holy temples. I am so blessed to be part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that it is true and through it I can reach my divine potential. President Hinckley will be forever remembered.

soccer

Me and a couple of my roommates went to our first intramural soccer game today. It was fun. We beat the other team in the second half. We scored two goals and they didn't score any... but they already had six goals from the first half, so we actually did lose. Thats ok though... then we have room for improvement. I was the only player that got called for a foul today. Yeah! You know it! I tripped this kid that thought he knew what he was doing... Ha! lol. just kidding... I didn't even mean to trip him. I was just aggressively going for the ball and then he ended up on the ground. Fun stuff. I haven't played soccer in a while and it was so nice to play again. We have games everyother Saturday so I will report on those eventually.

never seen before!

so in the parking garage for the apartments i live in i always notice the colors of the cars. i don't know why, i just do. we have recently had three red cars in a row, four yellow cars in a row, and just spotted last night were six white cars in a row. this has to be a record... not just for my apartment complex... but for the whole world. seriously, six white cars all parked right next to eachother. so weird. anyways i wanted to share this phenomenon with everyone. let me know if you find any bigger ones...

My Goals...

I figured I should follow through and make these public, then maybe I will actually do them. They are more like goals for the semester, but here they are:

Exercise more
Learn to like at least one vegetable
Read each assignment for all of my classes this semester
Go to bed earlier (10:30 sounds good)
Get to know all of the girls in my ward
Start cooking, at least a little bit

I plan to keep all of these in mind this semester and slowly work towards them. We'll see how that goes...
