so proud!

both of my little brothers got into BYU.

woot woot! they are ALL-STARS! serious ALL-STARS.

i am SO excited for them. they will have so much fun together.
but at the same time, i am a little heart-broken.

how is that three weeks after i leave Provo for the east coast both of my brothers move here??? oh it makes me so sad. call me dramatic, but i could seriously cry about this.

i just want to stay and play with them... like the good old days. i will miss you guys and all of the fun you will have. just don't forget about your sad sister that will be living 2,000 miles away. you both just better call, text, and email me ALL of the time.

they sell is so good and its CHEAP! cheesecake for $3?! you have to go try it out!

weekend in vegas

for president's day weekend we headed to vegas.
it was so fun to be home.

we played lots of games.


we went shooting.




and we made lots of treats.

we also shopped a little, had dinner on the strip, went hiking, and watched lots of movies.
it was a fabulous get-away. thanks for the great time guys!

i got in.

i got in to grad school.
wow... i like the sound of that.

i got accepted to the marriage and family therapy program in philadelphia.
i just found out today. this is crazy. they only accept 20 students a year!
hooray! i got in... boo! it's in the wrong state.

hopefully we will hear back from those awesome boston schools in the next couple of weeks.
i really think boston is calling, no... SCREAMING our name.

hope i don't drown

today i took the plunge and signed up for the utah valley 1/2 marathon.
after reading sheena's post on running... i knew i could do it.

i am excited and nervous at the same time. when i think of the t-shirt and medal they give me when i finish... i get way excited. when i look at the map of the course and think about how long it is... i get way nervous. luckily, i have some buddies that are running it with me. we can do it guys!

i have raced in only one other race and it was a 5k. so this is a bit of a challenge! 13.1 miles... AAAHHHHHHH!!!! what have i done?!? good thing it's not until june 11th!

any running advice from you pros out there?
i need all the help i can get. seriously.

the best of the best

ok, all you hot chocolate lovers...
i have found the best hot chocolate known to woman.

just look at this:

it's not a cup of hot chocolate... it's a BOWL of hot chocolate with heaping amounts
of whipped cream on top. it was perfect and it was DELICIOUS! you can get this dream of
chocolaty goodness at mimi's cafe for only $2.19 if i remember correctly. i might have to go again
just for dessert and order the ginormous hot chocolate. it is sooooo good.

surprise!

jeremy surprised me by having a bouquet of tulips (my favorite) delivered to me at work.
it was a day late... making it even more of a surprise.

we are officially two

this past weekend we celebrated our two year anniversary

woot woot!

on saturday we headed to the provo beach resort.
it was a pretty cool place with lots to do. we found an awesome photo booth and we played some miniature croquet. we don't really know the rules for croquet, but we had fun messing around.



we also hit up the arcade games. i hit a jackpot on one of the games (jeremy couldn't believe it) and we won a total of 588 tickets... but we gave most of them away because we don't want that much junk. we did get some fake tattoos and a plastic boomerang though.



then we went out to dinner at shoots - we love chinese food! and we went and saw the tourist.
it was a good movie. comedy, action, and a little romance all rolled into one. jeremy of course wanted more action, but i thought it was good. it was a way fun day.

on sunday (our actual anniversary)
we made french toast, went to church, and lounged around. aren't sundays the best??

we ended the night with sparkling cider and a delicious double chocolate bundt cake
complete with two candles because we turned TWO! yay!!

it was a great year! i can't wait for the adventures ahead.
