For the little children...

TOYS!

Riley and I ventured to the dollar store today to buy some toys that I can take with me for the little kids in Romania to play with. We got balls, cars, bubbles, jump ropes, coloring books, a puzzle, and some squeaky toys. I also bought stickers a while ago. I hope they like them.

Does anybody have any other suggestions of what I should take??

Hi Katie :) Gum is always a great one with kids...everyone wants a piece of gum to make a new friend with. I still can't believe you're going, I'm so excited for you. Another fun one is some cute hair bands, bows, and ties to help fix some of the little girl's hair. I don't know if anyone does that for them or not, but it would probably be fun. :)

oh my! So my friend is in the Dominican republic for a week and i bought him the exact same coloring book to bring to the children. how random is that? Also, I'm going to Mexico to work at an orphanage for a week. I just thought you'd like to know.

Bracelets of any shape or kind! I brought a bunch of simple frienship like bracelets with me to Rep Dom, they were a hit. It looks like you've got a lot of awesome stuff already. Be safe and have fun!
