Some people call it gambling, but I prefer to call it giving to the state of Nevada. My mom shared this little tid-bit of information with me today: The amount of money gamblers lost to Nevada casinos in June was $949.3 million. That is so much money and it was only for one month! I would just like to thank all of those who are actively supporting the great "Silver State." We appreciate it.
In all reality, gambling can become a serious problem and I am all for people overcoming the addiction.

I totally get that. We went from paying no state tax, thanks to the gamblers to a ridiculous amount to the beautiful state of Idaho every year. Gambling is a nasty habit, but as long as you have to deal with all of the yuck that comes with casinos, you may as well reap some of the benefits too, right? kelli
that's insane! it's so sad that people spend and waste that much money just to get a little satisfaction. Thanks for being so great!
I agree....what a waste of money. Too bad some of that didn't go to the school district. Had to get a plug in for us teachers :)
