This Easter Jeremy and I adopted a tradition that my parents have been doing for the last 10 years. They would hide our Easter baskets, tie yarn to them, and then wind the yarn all throughout the house. We would each have a color and have to roll our yarn into a little ball and follow it until we got to our basket. My parents would get more creative every year. One time they gave us all the same color of yarn (that took a little more work) and then my dad started taking the yarn outside, around the house, and through the cars.
He thought it was SO funny!
Jeremy and I did it to each other this year. Yarn was everywhere! I hid his basket in the oven and he hid mine behind the couch. It was fun! We also hid eggs for each other in different parts of the apartment. My good mom sent us all of the supplies! She is so good to us. Thanks mom!
After we found all of our goodies, we were off to church to
be reminded of the true meaning of Easter.
I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives my ever living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
"I know that my Redeemer lives."
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
I know that my Redeemer lives!
Have a great Easter Sunday!

Happy Easter. That is a FUN tradition. I wish I'd thought of that. I decided our Easter Egg hunt would lead us to our baskets this year. So each egg had a clue and it ended with the baskets. The yarn looks fun though!
Katie,
I took some pictures of my kid on Easter- I know nothing about photography. I was wondering (since I see your beautiful pics) if I sent them to you, if you'd be able to spruce them up for me? If you can't or don't want to, I'm totally okay. Just an idea I had. Email me and let me know.

We missed you today for the annual easter egg hunt!
Happy Easter! I am glad the Easter box was a success and you were able to keep up the yarn tradition. This year Dad had Sam and Riley going outside around the house and under the cars..
