an apple, a rabbit, and a butterfly

I have a bridal shower to go to tomorrow. (and no its not mine)

My friend is having a baby girl and I thought it would be fun to spruce up some white onesies for her! I took a trip to Walmart for some needed supplies, finally opened up my new sewing machine that I got for Christmas (its only been seven months), and got started.

It was a slow start that's for sure or just slow throughout the whole process actually. After a while of.... cutting, ironing, cutting, peeling, ironing, sewing, messing with the dials, sewing, reading the manual, getting frustrated, messing with the dials, sewing the front of the onesie to the back, unpicking what I just sewed, getting frustrated, reading the manual, messing with the dials, more sewing, and finally figuring out the sewing machine (or the sewing monster)... I was done. I may or may not have had to take a break and play tennis with Jeremy for an hour before I could actually finish them. Well, here they are...

And if you can't tell what each figure is because of my amateur attempts (yeah, don't look too close at the stitching), check out the title of this post....

I sure hope my friend likes them.

Maybe I will throw in some chocolate...
then she will LOVE them.
