tie-dye fun

i tie-dyed with the kids at work today. they LOVED it. one kid came up to me after and said, "katie, this is the best group we have ever had since i've been here." they were super helpful in setting up and cleaning up, too. they are great kids!! and their shirts rocked. here's mine:

i am in charge of "craft group" every three weeks. any ideas for cheap crafts i could do with teenage boys? i was going to do marshmallow guns, but my supervisor nixed the idea because of the gun reference (plus the boys would probably make it dangerous some how). anyways... suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can do icecream sculptures. Freeze the icecream really cold, then pop it out and sculp it with spoons and butter knives.

You should get a bunch of cardboard and other supplies and divide them in teams and have them build fortresses where they try to knock each others' down using rolled up socks or something.

Sorry, that's not very crafty, it just sounds fun to me.

Awesome. This sounds so perfect for you! I'm not a crafty girl, but if I think of anything, I'll let you know!
