massachusetts

i don't know if i will ever be able to spell the name of the state where i now reside. it is just sooooo complicated. even in writing this post i titled it "massachusets" and then had to put it in google to see if i spelled it right... and no i didn't.

you would think after living here for three months that i might have it down.

nope.

nope.

massachusettes?

nope.

massachusets?

nope.

two s's?! two t's!!? it's such a complicated thing. and then i think i have it down right... and then the next time i need to spell it out, i get it wrong again. the poor kids that live here that have to learn how to spell it. man!

it's rough.

so massachusetts... don't take it personally, but i may never learn how to spell your name.
