Blue Moon Grill

our quest for the best: BREAKFAST PLACE

 round 2

955 Main Street, Wakefield, MA 01880

the deets

the food: i got the eggs and hash (eggs, corned beef hash, home fries, and toast) and jeremy got the french toast special (caramelized apples, walnuts, and fresh bananas on top of french toast).  it was delicious!  the home fries weren't my preferred style and they were still so good, especially mixed with my eggs and corned beef hash.  delicious!  we ate everything and left completely satisfied.

prices: they were a little more expensive as far as most breakfast places go, but not unreasonable by any means.  mine was 7.95 and jeremy's was 7.50.  they do accept credit cards.

service: we have heard that this place gets PACKED! so we made sure to go on a weekday.  it was still busy and the place is very small, but we got seated right away.  our server seemed rather stressed and was going a mile a minute.  our food arrived quickly and she kept our water full.

the verdict
we would go back, especially if we were in the mood for something fancy.  they have amazing menu options beyond the normal eggs and pancakes and they taste delicious.  if i wanted something simple and quick, i would probably go somewhere else, because you can get it cheaper and it's a hopping place on the weekends (so we hear, via yelp).
