Germany

Wednesday, May 26th

Our day in Berlin, Germany was a busy one.  This was the only day we did an excursion through the cruise line and it really was nice to just be carted around everywhere listening to all sorts of interesting facts about the place.  Did you know that they count, number, and catalog every tree in Berlin?  How random is that?!

We saw the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial (amazing!!), and Brandenburg Gate.  We had a scenic train ride to and from Berlin and it was just gorgeous.  This was Jeremy's favorite stop because of all of the history.  It was a packed day and we learned so much from our tour guide Johannes.

And then we sailed to Estonia!
