November Letters

Dear November,
I can't believe you are already here.  You bring the beginning of the holidays which I am so excited about.  We are staying put this year for the festivities, which I of course have mixed emotions about.  Let's make it a good one!

Dear Election,
You have torn my heart apart, as well as divided this country.  I am not excited about either candidate.  I'm still waiting to wake up and have it all be a joke.  How did it come to this?  Can America have a re-do?

Dear Girls Trip,
Oh hooray!  Gwen and I are excited to spend some quality time with my mom, aunts, and cousins.  We will be crafting it up, laughing, and chatting for days and days.  Hopefully our plane rides are uneventful.  I'm pretty sure they will be... Gwen's a champ.

Dear Thanksgiving,
I love you more and more every year.  You are a wonderful reminder about the importance of cultivating gratitude as a practice in our lives.  Becoming more thankful has been a game changer for me.  You can shift your whole life by recognizing the tiny miracles its made of.

Dear Traditions,
I look forward to you around the calendar, but even more so this month and next.  Pumpkin waffles, thankful trees, movies, and festive treats.  And now we have Gwen to share them with!!  What a magical time of year!

Xoxo, Katie
