my mom...

makes me laugh.

today, IMing while we were both at work:

me: hey mom
mom: hey girlie
mom: how are you?
me: im good
mom: hey i was a hero today.
me: really?!
mom: i went and gave blood.
me: nice work!
....
mom: i thought of you and thought for sure i was going to faint
mom: but i didn't
mom: but i did enjoy the krispy kreme donut

(p.s. i have a history of fainting when i give blood)
