we went camping last night. just me, j, and richie.
we roasted hot dogs for dinner.
they always taste so good roasted over a camp fire.
and then we roasted mallows and had s'mores for dessert.
(with reese's peanut butter cups... they're the best!)

we had to take a nature walk. the mountains are BEAUTIFUL!
we all agreed that it was a very successful camp out.
j and i set up our tent and got our lantern lit (both for the 1st time), the food was delicious, we saw a shooting star, our fire was huge, jeremy saw the big dipper for the 1st time, and we didn't get eaten by bears. SUCCESS.

Fun! Although we missed you at the ward campout on Friday!
ahh so fun! we should go together some time! we just went on our first campout together last weekend. We froze at night, but other than that it was a blast. Where did you guys go?? I'm always looking for good spots.
