important business

(when work gets boring)

Dearest Allison,

I would like to congratulate you on making it onto my speed dial list, being currently programmed as number 4. I now have a sure way of contacting you in case I get thirsty first to arrange our daily water adventure, rather than contacting your students. Please accept my sincerest apologies in not taking care of this order of business at an earlier date. I hope all is well with you and yours. Have a splendid rest of the day.

Thank you!

Katie

Sweetest Katie,

Your e-mail made me smile. I feel so special to have made it to your speed dial. Our water runs are of the utmost importance and so it brings me comfort knowing that you can now call me without any trouble. I’m sure my students will appreciate you not calling their lines when I am waiting anxiously for a call from you on my very own line. Apology accepted. We can now move forward with our daily adventure and never look back to the day when I was less important to you.

All is well with me. I hope the same is true for you. Enjoy your evening. I hope you will be indulging in more frozen deliciousness.

Til’ tomorrow.

Allison
