i upgraded and got a new phone:
yes, i still rock the flip phone! yeah baby! i love this little guy. it's a titch smaller than my previous phone, so it's great. i am not sure that i will ever get a smart phone... i just don't want to be that connected to the world (although some of those apps seem su-weet!). i don't need my email at my fingertips all day long. but maybe i'm just totally missing out... what kind of phone do you rock?

I'm a total iPhone snob. At first, I didn't want one for the same reasons you named, but once I had one it made life SO much easier! I almost never use it for email etc. But the apps have saved my life more than once :)
I also have the flip phone :) it looks very similar to yours, and other than wishing the camera was a little better, I absolutely love it, it does everything I need at the moment... I still haven't decided if I'll upgrade to a smart phone or not though.
it's a matter of time... the smart phone is inevitable!!!
and once you (finally) get it, you will get it.
smart phone's are awesome.
