now that dad had arrived we could begin the boston tour.
we started at beacon hill and then slowly moved along the freedom trail.

my family rocks! we were missing little riley out in thailand.
after taking in ALL the history (my dad and sam read all the plaques) along 1/2
of the freedom trail, we had lunch at Cheers in Quincy Market.
after we moseyed on back to the hotel for an afternoon nap, we wandered to Joe's on Newbury Street, our chosen destination for Thanksgiving Dinner.
it worked out great! they had a turkey dinner option, that surprisingly 4 out of 5 of us went for. the desserts were delicious, too. we got all varieties and did some passing around the table. it was a delicious, worry and dish-free holiday dinner... our favorite kind. :)
we ended the night seeing Lincoln with our grateful hearts and full bellies.
