saturday in the city

after sleeping in and playing tennis, we ventured into the city.

i had a drawing class for a couple of hours (awesome birthday present from my parents), so while i was exploring my creativity, jeremy worked on some lab stuff for school.

here's my work at the beginning of the class:
it was really fun and the teacher is a hoot and a total expert.
we will see what next week's class brings.

i was loving the boston streets as i walked over to get jeremy after my class.

then we walked over to the esplanade along the charles river.

we wanted to see the rowing races at the head of the charles regatta so we walked on down to the starting line, or starting buoys actually.

there were teams and rowers of all ages out there racing. it was really cool!
after all of our walking, we found ourselves by fenway park so we got some dinner as we watched the lucky fans heading into the game.  (and can we talk about those sox!?!?  i love this town!)

it was a gorgeous day!
