Venice, Italy

We just fell in love with Venice! It has been so hard to pick what pictures to put on the blog (I had 100 pictures just from one night in Venice), but I still hope you get a feel for the cities we have been experiencing.

Here is a real gondola! They are much bigger than the Venetian Hotel's gondalos.

The Rialto Bridge!

Me on the Rialto Bridge!

We walked through all sorts of tiny streets and over little bridges to make our way to the famous square!

St. Mark's Square was pretty busy. We saw two brides posing for pictures here.

My mom and I... we went on a little boat ride.

The amazing buildings along the river! So cool!

Some more buidlings with the setting sun... we had a perfect view from the boat.

I picked up these beauties for only 5 euros! What a find!

Florence, Italy

This town is so cute!
Here are some old bikes... all of the bikes here seem to be so ancient!

Here is the statue of David by Michelangelo.

Here is a G-rated view of the statue.

We had to get some more gelato. Notice that I have no cone in the picture... I already ate mine. :(

I just love taking pictures of the bridges over the rivers!

Rome, Italy (Day 2)

My feet are sure tired!

Here I am in front of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican!

The inside was very ornate.

This ceiling was inside of the Vatican Museum. All the artwork was so beautiful and everything seemed to be painted!

Here is inside the Sistine Chapel. Sorry it's so dark!

This is the best I could do... we weren't supposed to take pictures... but can you tell that in the middle is Michelangelo's famous painting where the fingers are about to touch?

We had some pizza next... they folded it for us... weird!

Here we are at the Spanish Steps!

Here are some old ruins!

We took the metro around today... it was completely covered in graffiti!

Rome, Italy (Day 1)

We are in ROME, ITALY! It has been a busy day!

Here I am in front of the Colliseum.

The Colliseum is so big!

Here is the inside of the Collesium.

We headed over to the Pantheon next.

The Trevi Fountains! This was huge too! Everything is just so big!
My mom and I at the Trevi Fountains!

The busy streets of Rome.

Pisa, Italy

We stayed in Pisa last night! What a cool town?! So relaxed!

These old men are discussing important matters I'm sure.

We found Gelato! So good!

The Tower of Pisa!

The city life!

Everyone rides these old bikes... and I mean everyone!

We had some delicious pasta for dinner!

We are off to see what Rome has in store for us!

Nice, France

We stayed one night in Nice, France. Here is what we saw.

A cool street!

The beach was rocky....

But beautiful!

I put my little toes in the Mediterranean Sea!

This guy has confidence!

We saw some break dancers on the way back to our hotel. They were pretty good.

Paris, France (Day 3)

Today we went back to Notre Dame to go up to the Bell Tower!

I was first in line... of a very long line. We got there an hour early. Good thing!

We picked up this little Quasimodo at a shop near by... it was perfect!

There were 288 stairs to get to the top! We could feel the burn baby!

My mom and I at the base of the bell tower stairs.

I'm HOME! Quasi and the Bell Tower!

The gargoyles were way cool.

We even got to go to the very top. Here is the view down.

Another view from the very top. So cool.. so worth it!
For those that aren't familiar with the whole Quasi's Bell Tower meaning... you can visit my 2nd post on this blog. You can find it in August of 2007 and it explains why that's the name of my blog. Enjoy!
We also enjoyed a 5 hour train ride to Nice, France today; I will post those pictures tomorrow!
