SF Part 5

previous installments: here, here, here, and here

DAY 6

we started the day by taking the trolley to fisherman's wharf

we walked (more like meandered) a long long way along the water...

and eventually made it to the exploratorium

we spent 4 or 5 hours here and acted like little kids

then we hopped on a bus and headed to the golden gate bridge

the bridge was way amazing. i could take pictures all day... obviously

the one above on the right is one of my favorites
(so is the one below)

then we took a nature walk to sausalito

it was beautiful!

grabbed sandwiches for dinner at a little italian place, or maybe it was french
i swear they were speaking french, but we tried their "italian homemade bread"...
so who knows?

love, Love, LOVE sausalito!

we wandered around some more and then took a ferry back to SF

the views were great.

then we walked along fisherman's wharf... again. i love it!
but we couldn't head back to the hotel without stopping at GHIRARDELLI's!

this was the night we spent about $20 on ice cream ($18 plus some change to be more specific).
mine was the huge one on the right- the "gold rush"- a peanut buttery chocolate
masterpiece. i couldn't finish it though...

it was a great day... and our legs were pooped!

2 more days to come
