Paradise Bay Shaved Ice
on the corner of 300 East and 300 South in Provo

we both got smalls. jeremy got guava (surprise, surprise) with ice cream on the bottom and
i ordered the paradise special: coconut, pineapple, and lemon. they were good!

we went last night. i ALWAYS finish before j... it is just so tasty!

the deets

prices: it was $2 for a small (the same as The Shred Shack), they offer a kiddie
size for a $1.50, ice cream on bottom for .50, azuki beans (details in pic above) on bottom
for .50, no cream, no extra for tax, only take cash or check

flavors: normal selection plus "cream flavors" that are .25 more, have a secret flavor of
the day, and three suggested specialty combos, no extra for multiple flavors

loyalty bonus: no special card- but we forgot to ask

seating: nice wooden tables (4) with 4 matching chairs each, put
out sunshade in the afternoon sun

misc: FAST service- start making shave ice before you decide flavor or pay, not too
crowded, they have cool music, it's a clean environment, pretty soft ice, they are
on facebook where they post updates and offer discounts


the verdict

it was better than The Shred Shack because of the more relaxed and cleaner
environment, i still like the flavor options of the SURF N SLURP and jeremy likes the ice
better at Hokulia. but we will probably come here again because its so close, their
prices are really good, and their service is AMAZING.
