the beach: part 2

DAY 3

INDEPENDENCE DAY!

we started the day visiting my cousins and seeing their sweet baby. then we went to church and
ended the meeting by standing and singing the National Anthem. i sang LOUD and PROUD!

we headed to the park for the rest of the day. we played catch, frisbee, kicked
a soccer ball around, and wrote sammy letters. i will tell you.. it is not good to leave me in a park for 6 hours
with a camera... i took pictures of everything. but don't worry, i won't post them all.

i LOVE sparklers!

and taking pictures of my feet (red stripe, on white shoes, and blue sky). and i love jeremy, too.

patriotic tootsie rolls... and my cute family.

we know how to snack right. chips, salsa, and starbursts. yum!
(jeremy started reading the hunger games... and LOVES it)

when it got dark we watched the firework show.
they were pretty good, but i liked the angel's fireworks better.

while everyone else was stuck in traffic trying to leave the park, we whipped
out our sparklers to twirl and dance with FIRE! I LOVE SPARKLERS!

it was a great celebration of America's big birthday!

DAY 4

our last day at the beach. sad face.

getting all set up. we got it down to a science. dad and jeremy set up the umbrellas,
mom and i set out the mats and towels, and riley sets the perimeter with the
boogie and skimboards (then he started actually drawing a box around our territory). we are pretty fast.

not wanting to get in the cold water. (do you like my colorful outfit? i realized i had every color of the rainbow on [again] except orange, but pink instead: red toenails, pink tank top, yellow shorts, green sweatshirt, blue swimsuit bottoms, and purple swimsuit top. every color matches every color in my book!)

more feet! and jeremy chasing birds.

my dad, jeremy, and i played some frisbee and then jeremy and i built a sand castle.
it was pretty legit.

we wandered around the board walk and had lunch at wahoo's fish tacos.
i got one pork and one chicken taco (without lettuce of course) and they were good!

then we had to pack up and head home.

what a trip?! i love the beach.

thanks mom and dad!
